One of our favorite holiday traditions at Main Street Aloha Co. is creating our custom Advent Calendars, and this year marks our third year bringing them back. These calendars have become so special to us — and to you — that we wanted to share the story behind them.
✨ How It Started
When I first brought the idea of doing Advent Calendars to my husband, Kalai (who now personalizes and cuts all of our wood products), he was a little hesitant. And honestly, I don’t blame him — we knew it would be a lot of work.
But after releasing them the first year and seeing your incredible feedback, we realized just how much you all loved them. Hearing how these calendars brought extra magic to your holiday season made every bit of the hard work worth it.
🎁 Why They’re So Special
The most unique part of each Advent Calendar is that it’s custom-made to fit your family. We ask for all of your family members’ names and personalize certain products to include them — yes, even fur babies! 🐾
Though we originally created them with families in mind, we’ve also made calendars for couples and even single customers, because everyone deserves to feel the Christmas magic.
🕒 The Process
Because these calendars are so customized, we have a 6–8 week turnaround time. Don’t worry — you’ll always receive yours before December so you’re ready to enjoy the countdown.

Some families open one gift per day leading up to Christmas, while others can’t resist opening them all at once. 😉 However you enjoy yours is up to you!

One of our favorite things about creating these calendars is that everything inside is exclusive. We don’t sell these items anywhere else, including the custom print that appears on some of the gifts. That means each Advent Calendar is truly one-of-a-kind for your family.
